COMMUNICATION

Janis Juskovs, 31, of Freiston Road, Boston. At Boston, on October 22, 2019, sent an electronic communication, namely a text message, which was, in whole or part, of an indecent or grossly offensive nature for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the recipient or to any other person to whom they intended that it or its contents or nature should be communicated. £266 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs. At Boston, on October 5, 9 and October 13, 2019, sent by means of a public electronic communications network a message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. For each offence, no separate penalty.

DRUG DRIVING

Owen Winship, 22, of Thorpe Place, Tattershall. At Coningsby, in Ivy Lane, on September 8 of last year, drove when the proportion of the controlled drug benzoylecgonine in his blood equalled 127 microgrammes per litre. Legal limit 50mcg. Community order made. Unpaid Work Requirement: 60 hours. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Driving record endorsed. At the same location, on the same date, drove when the proportion of the controlled drug delta-9-hydrocannabinol in his blood equalled 5.3 microgrammes per litre. Legal limit 2mcg. Community order made, as above. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Driving record endorsed. At the same location, on the same date, used a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty. Driving record endorsed with six points. At Coningsby, in Reedham Lane, on the same date, being the driver of a vehicle, failed to stop on being required to do so by a constable in uniform. FRAUD

Chloe Gill, 22, of Frithville Road, Sibsey. At Sibsey, between November 4, 2017 and February 28, 2019, committed fraud in that she dishonestly made a false representation, namely taking money for the sale of a mobile phone with no intention to supply the goods, intending to make a gain for herself, and cause loss to another or to expose that person to a risk of loss – 11 counts, involving individual sums of £200, £250, £133.94, £100, £50, £50, £310, £80, £120, £180, and £100, and a different complainant each time. For each offence, committed to prison for 26 weeks, suspended for 18 months, with terms running concurrent to each other. Sums of £250, £100, £50, £50, £310, £80, £120, £180, £100 to pay as compensation. At Boston, on January 9, 2020, committed assault. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months, to run concurrent to other terms. £50 compensation to pay. At Boston, on the same date, used towards another threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them by any person, or to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence by any person whereby they were likely to believe that such violence would be used, or it was likely that such violence would be provoked. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months, to run concurrent to other terms. For each offence, Curfew Requirement with Electronic Monitoring: three months (now passed) and Rehabilitation Activity Requirement: up to 25 days.
