KNIFE

Stacey Housham, 41, of Collingwood Crescent, Boston. At Boston, on February 10, 2020, assaulted a police constable, with intent to resist or prevent the lawful apprehension or detainer of himself for an offence. Committed to prison for two weeks as a concurrent term. £100 compensation to pay. At Boston, on the same date, had in his possession a quantity of cannabis – a class B drug. Committed to prison for two weeks as a concurrent term. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed. At Boston, in Tennyson Close, on April 30, had in his possession a quantity of cannabis and a quantity of diazipam – a class C drug. For each offence, committed to prison for two weeks as concurrent terms. Cannabis and diazipam to be forfeited and destroyed. At the same location, on the same date, had with him, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a folding lock knife. Committed to prison for six months as concurrent term. Knife to be forfeited and destroyed. At Boston, on July 16, without reasonable excuse, entered a premises in contravention of a closure order. Committed to prison for four months as concurrent term. Overall length of sentence: six months.

Craig Battisson, 30, of Greenfield Lane, Friskney. At Skegness, in Boston Road, on March 10, used a vehicle, when the manner in which passengers were carried in it was such that its use involved a danger of injury to any person. £80 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs. PUBLIC ORDER

Peter Andrews, 61, of Days Lane, Donington. At Donington, on July 17, with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, thereby causing harassment, alarm or distress. Restraining order made. £400 fine. £40 victim surcharge. £85 costs.

Christopher Parker, 40, of Dogdyke Road, Coningsby. At Coningsby, on June 27, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby. £660 fine. £66 victim surcharge. £85 costs.

REGISTRATION MARK

Paul McGann, 35, of Leagate Road, Coningsby. At Sleaford, on the A153, on September 14, 2019, drove a vehicle when the registration mark required to be fixed on the rear of the vehicle failed to comply with the regulations in that the plate displayed raised lettering and improper letter spacing. £40 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £90 costs.

RESTRAINING ORDER BREACH

Keith Andrew, 37, of King Street, Kirton. At Sutterton, on December 6, breached a restraining order. £70 fine. £34 victim surcharge. £85 costs. At Sutterton, on December 13, breached a non molestation order. No separate penalty. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made for an offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Suspended sentence varied to: committed to prison for a term of 23 weeks, suspended for two years. Rehabilitation Activity Requirement: up to 12 days. Programme requirement.

SEAT BELT

Vasile Dobre, 19, of Willoughby Hills, Fishtoft. At Boston, in West Street, on June 8, rode in a rear seat of a vehicle while not wearing a seat belt in conformity with the regulations. £220 fine. £34 victim surcharge. £90 costs.

Georgi Tsvetanov, 31, of Skirbeck Road, Boston. At Boston, in John Adams Way, rode in a rear seat of a vehicle while not wearing a seat belt in conformity with the regulations. £83 fine. £34 victim surcharge. £90 costs.

SPECIMEN

Jordan Wass, 26, of Stanley Street, Lincoln. At Gypsey Bridge, on May 26, when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen of blood in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failed without reasonable excuse to do so. £300 fine. £34 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Driving record endorsed. At the same location, on the same date, used a vehicle without insurance, otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and without a test certificate. For each, no separate penalty.

Benjamin Walker, 30, of Burgh Road, Friskney. At Skegness, on July 24, when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen/s of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence failed without reasonable excuse to do so. £300 fine. £34 victim surcharge. £85 costs. SPEEDING

Alexandra Hampton, 30, of Leagate Road, Thornton Le Fen. At Hubbert’s Bridge, in Hubbert’s Bridge Road, on August 8, drove at a speed of more than 66mph, exceeding the 40mph limit. £392 fine. £39 victim surcharge. £90 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

THEFT

Danny Elson, 30, of Bankside, Dalderby, Horncastle. At Boston, on April 15, stole meat products to an unknown value from Costcutter. £100 compensation to pay. At Boston, in South Terrace, on May 4, had in his possession a wrap of diamorphine – a class A drug. Diamorphine to be forfeited and destroyed. At Kirton, on the same date, stole meat and cheese to the value of £80 from Co-operative Retails. £50 compensation to pay. For all charges, discharged conditionally for 18 months.

Juozas Legota, 54, of London Road, Boston. At Boston, on July 22, stole two bottles of alcohol to the value of £16 from Aldi. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. £16 compensation to pay. £22 victim surcharge. £85 costs. 
At Boston, on the same date, stole groceries to the value of £23 from Aldi.

Nathan Bourne, 29, of Fydell Street, Boston. At Boston, on December 23, stole meat to the value of £400 from Aldi. Committed to prison for eight weeks. At Boston, on December 24, stole meat to the value of £300 from Aldi. Committed to prison for eight weeks as concurrent term. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence. No adjudication – dealt with for original offences: three counts of burglary, all in Boston, between October 3 and 15, 2020; seven counts of theft, all in Boston, between June 1 October 17, 2020. 
Two suspended sentences of imprisonment of four weeks implemented as consecutive terms; seven suspended sentence of two weeks implemented as consecutive terms; one suspended sentence of imprisonment of four weeks implemented as two-week consecutive term. 
Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. No adjudication – dealt with for original offence: four counts of theft, all in Boston, between October 11 and December 2, 2020. For each, committed to prison for two weeks as concurrent terms. Overall length of sentence: 32 weeks. Conviction of an offence while a community order is in force. Community order revoked.

Arunas Marozas, 41, of Main Ridge East, Boston. At Boston, on October 5, stole two bottles of wine to the value
 of £6.50 from Lidl. Discharged conditionally for six months. £4.99

VIOLENCE TO SECURE ENTRY

Matthew Trigg, 33, of Wyberton West Road, Boston. At Boston, on December 29, used violence for the purpose of securing entry into premises, knowing that there was someone present on those premises who was opposed to said entry. Community order made. Rehabilitation Activity Requirement: up to 25 days. Restraining order made. £95 victim surcharge. £85 costs. At Boston, on the same date, committed assault by beating. Community order made, as above. At Boston, on January 2, pursued a course of conduct which amounted to harassment and which he knew or ought to have known amounted to harassment in that on that date he called the complainant 58 times and attempted to contact them via various electronic means.

STATUTORY DECLARATION

Luke Townsend, 29, of Aveland Drive, Billingborough. Appeared before court in order to make a statutory declaration following conviction for an offence of using a vehicle without insurance. Statutory declaration made. Case adjourned and later dismissed after defendant found not guilty.

Junior Pontes, 36, of Havelock, Spalding. Appeared before the court in order to make a statutory declaration following conviction for an offence of driving a vehicle while carrying a child aged between three and 13 years who was not wearing a seat belt in conformity with the regulations. Statutory declaration made. Case adjourned for trial.
