Jessica Richardson

A Coningsby woman has been remanded on unconditional bail and is due to face a trial later this year.

Jessica Richardson, 22, of Dogdyke Road, indicated a not guilty plea at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on June 24.

The court heard that on February 19, 2020, at Coningsby, Richard used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another woman, and that the offence was racially aggravated.

Richardson was remanded on unconditional bail and will face a trial at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on October 11, of this year.

Richardson was not present for the court hearing.

Alan Jeffrey

A Wragby man has been fined and had his driving record endorsed with points after being found guilty of operating a vehicle without a licence or insurance.

Alan Jeffrey, 19, of Silver Street, was found guilty through the ‘Single Justice Procedure’ at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on June 21.

The defendant did attend the hearing.

The court heard that on May 3, 2020, Jeffrey drove a motor vehicle on the A158 at Wragby when he did not have a driving licence authorising him to drive the vehicle.

For this offence, Jeffrey was fined £155 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a £34 surcharge to fund victim services. Jeffrey’s driving record was endorsed with six points.

The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.

On the same day, Jeffrey drove a car without insurance.

There was no separate penalty for this offence.

Dale Raw

A Horncastle man has been handed a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to assaulting a police officer, and motoring offences.

Dale Raw, 29, of Brook Road, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, on June 21.

The court heard that on May 27 of this year, Raw assaulted a police officer in Horncastle.

Raw was ordered to pay compensation of £150 and must participate in an accredited programme for 20 days.

The court also heard that on April 6 of this year, Raw drove a motor vehicle in Banovallum Gardens, Horncastle, when he did not have a driving licence authorising him to drive the vehicle.

There was no separate penalty for this offence.

On the same day, an accident occurred whereby £5,000 worth of damage was caused to another vehicle, with Raw being the driver.

Raw did not have consent from the owner of the vehicle and caused damage to two cars and a garden fence.

The court heard that Raw also drove without due care and attention. For this offence, Raw was ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

Raw was committed to prison for a total of eight weeks, suspended for 18 months.

He was also banned from driving for 6 months.

The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.

Toms Baltins

A Coningsby man has been handed a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to assault.

Toms Baltins, 19, of Hamilton Way, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on June 23.

The court heard that on May 22 of this year, in Lincoln, Baltins had in his possession a small silver kitchen knife.

For this offence, Baltins was committed to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for two years.

Baltins was also ordered to carry out 15 days of rehabilitation activity and 123 hours of unpaid work.

Baltins was also ordered to pay a £128 surcharge to fund victim services, plus £85 to the CPS.

The court also heard that, on the same day, Baltins assaulted another man by beating him.

For this offence, Baltins was ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

The court took into consideration that the offence was committed within two years of a conditional discharge handed to him in February 2020 after he used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour in January 2020.
