Drugs thrown from fleeing vehicle during police chase towards Louth
Police are investigating after a 'large amount of cannabis' was thrown from a fleeing vehicle during a police chase yesterday afternoon (Sunday).
The vehicle, which drove dangerously through the Grimsby area before heading towards Louth, was later found abandoned to the south of Louth.
A Humberside Police spokesman tweeted: "Vehicle sighted earlier in Grimsby which fails to stop, pursued into [Lincolnshire Police] area, where large amount of cannabis was thrown from the vehicle. Vehicle drove dangerously and found abandoned south of Louth. Drugs to be send off for fingerprint analysis."
