Firefighters tackle trailer blaze in Hemswell Cliff

Firefighters from Gainsborough were among those called to a large fire in Hemswell Cliff in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, April 21).

At 3.50am Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Learoyd Road, Hemswell Cliff.

Appliances from Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Kirton in Lindsey and Humberside were in attendance.

At 9am the incident was scaled down to one pump.

Residents in the area are advised to keep windows closed and drivers should take car on the roads in the area due to poor visibilty.
