Five men named and charged after raid on cannabis farm in Thorpe Tilney

Five men have now been charged in connection with the production of cannabis after a drugs raid on a property in Thorpe Tilney, in the Sleaford area on Tuesday (June 9).

Five men have now been charged in connection with the production of cannabis after a drugs raid on a property in Thorpe Tilney, in the Sleaford area on Tuesday (June 9).

The five charged are: Mirsad Beqja, 53, of Newbon Close, Loughborough; William Buckberry, 31, of Sleaford Road, Thorpe Tilney; Nimet Jacaj, 32, of Hyde Way, Sleaford; Derirjan Ujkaj, 23, of Gradwell Street, Liverpool; and Klaidi Hasanas, 28 of Herbert Street, Loughborough.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said they have all been remanded in custody and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 11.

A 28-year-old woman has also been arrested and released under investigation.

Sleaford Neighbourhood policing team had reported via social media that they were assisted by response officers and the divisional intelligence unit to execute a drugs warrant at a property in a village in the Sleaford area on Tuesday.

They said: “A large cannabis grow has been located and the persons arrested.”
