Friskney man admits growing 91 cannabis plants worth £78,000
A Friskney man has admitted growing 91 cannabis plants with a street value of £78,000.
Gavin Patrick Campbell (42), of Main Road, pleaded guilty to producing a controlled class B drug when he appeared before magistrates in Boston on Wednesday (Dec 11).
Prosecutor Nick Todd said: "The police drugs expert says that these 91 plants are likely to have produced 7,896 grams. At £10 a deal that would be £78,000."
Magistrates committed the case to Lincoln Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
A pre-sentencing report was ordered and Campbell was granted unconditional bail.
