Guilty plea after criminal damage in town street

A Sleaford man who smashed a window of a neighbour's home has pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage after an incident on a quiet '¨street.

Shane Hamilton, 31, of Grampian Close, Sleaford, appeared before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court last Monday, March 14, after the incident was 
reported to police at 7.30pm on March 11.

Magistrates sentenced him to serve a 
community order for 12 months.

He will also have to comply with a 30 day rehabilitation activity and pay a total of £500 compensation to the victims.

A restraining order to last indefinitely has also been issued banning him from communicating directly or indirectly with John or Josephine Denby or entering the curtilage of 4 Grampian Close, Sleaford.
