The two motorcycles belonged to pensioner Rob Law-Bregan and it has been devastating as they could not be insured as they had been stored in a shed and do not qualify for road vehicle insurance.

One of the stolen motorcycles is a classic 1976 trails bike. Now retired he had recently bought a second off road bike for his grandson so they could spend some time together - this was one of the bikes stolen says James.

“He is absolutely devastated as he would of rather given them to the thieves as he would do anything for anyone and has a heart of gold.”

They are appealing for anyone who may know anything about the theft or has seen the bikes to get in touch with police.
