Savannah Walton, 19, of Queen Street, Market Rasen, has been sentenced for a public order offence, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on May 10.

The court was told how Walton pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour with intent to cause ‘unspecified’ harassment, alarm or distress.

The incident happened in Habrough, North East Lincolnshire, on December 14, last year.

Walton has been given a three-month curfew with electronic monitoring and has been ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £60 victim surcharge.

She has also been handed a restraining order, the court heard.

Thomas Gaskin

Thomas Gaskin, 44, of Summergangs Lane, Gainsborough - previously of Buchanan Road, Hemswell Cliff - has pleaded not guilty to a string of charges under the Criminal Damage Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on May 12.

The court was told how Mr Gaskin has been accused of causing criminal damage to a window, to the value of £100, belonging to a woman in Gainsborough, on February 6.

He is also accused of causing criminal damage to a Vauxhall Corsa belonging to Lincolnshire Police, in Gainsborough on February 6.

And Mr Gaskin allegedly damaged a Skoda car belonging to Lincolnshire Police, in Gainsborough on February 6.

He denies all three charges.

Mr Gaskin is due to stand trial at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on July 27,

He has been given conditional bail until this date, the court was told.

Jeffrey Boryszczuk

Jeffrey Boryszczuk, 45, of Snelland Road, Wickenby, has been sentenced for an offence under the Vagrancy Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on May 16.

The court was told how Boryszczuk begged in a public place, Bailgate Lincoln, on November 16, last year.

Boryszczuk had pleaded not guilty to the charge but the case was proved by magistrates in his absence from court.

Boryszczuk has been fined £50 and been ordered to pay £50 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge.

Emma Royce

Emma Royce, 35, of Cornwall Road, Scunthorpe, has been given a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to a string of offences that happened in Bigby, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard on May 18.

The court was told how Royce admitted driving a black Peugeot 307 in Main Street, Bigby, while disqualified from driving.

She also admitted using the Peugeot 307 without any insurance.

And Royce admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods - namely golves, pipe cutters, two bunches of keys and an adapter tyre lever of an unknown value - in Bigby.

All three offences happened on November 27 last year, the court heard.

The court was told how Royce has been handed a 12-month conditional discharge and has been ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

Simon Medley

Simon Medley, 44, of Fortyfoot Lane, Kirmington, has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to turn up for a hearing at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court on May 18.

The court was told how Mr Medley had been due in the dock charged with producing a quantity of class B drug cannabis.

It allegedly happened in Kirmington on April 1, last year.

Mr Medley has not yet entered a plea.

Magistrates have issued a warrant for Mr Medley’s arrest without bail.

The case has been adjourned.

Brett Painter

Brett Painter, 22, c/o of Dunston Villas, Kirton Lindsey, has been charged with an offence under the Protection from Harassment Act, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard on May 19.

The court was told how Mr Painter is accused of one count of stalking a woman in Scunthorpe between December 7 and December 18, last year.

It is alleged Mr Painter attended North Lindsey College to speak to the woman on December 7, and followed her.

Mr Painter allegedly attended North Lindsey College car park on December 14 and left a note on a car belonging to the woman.

And he allegedly messaged the woman’s brother in an attempt to contact her on December 18.

Mr Painter has not yet entered a plea for the charge.

The case has been adjourned until June 16, the court was told.

Nigel Sims

Nigel Sims, 28, of Mill Lane, Brigg, has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to turn up for a hearing at Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court on May 19.

The court was told how Mr Sims had been due in the dock accused of stealing a tin of baby milk and two packets of cheese, to the value of £12, from Tesco in Brigg on March 26.

Mr Sims has not yet entered a plea.

Magistrates have issued a warrant for his arrest without bail.

The case has been adjourned.
