Mablethorpe man admits sexual communication with child

Aaron Patrick Coles, 32, of Rose Grove, committed the offence earlier this month, between March 1 and March 15.

The charge alleged that Coles had, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, intentionally attempted to communicate with a child under the age of 16, who he did not reasonably believe to be 16 or over, and the communication was sexual.

Coles pleaded guilty to the offence at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (March 17).

He has been remanded in custody until April 7 while a pre-sentence report is prepared.

He will be required to register with the police, for a period to be specified when the case has concluded.
