Man, 36, sentenced for assault and criminal damage charges

A Holton le Clay man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to two criminal damage charges and an assault.

Luke Senior, 36, of Worsley Close, committed criminal damage on a car in Tetney on December 1 last year, for which he was fined £500 and also ordered to pay compensation of £350.

On December 27, Senior damaged a garage window and some French doors at a home in North Somercotes, for which he was ordered to pay £500 in compensation.

He assaulted a man in North Somercotes on the same date, for which he was given a 12 month restraining order.

Senior pleaded guilty to all three charges when he appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on March 22.

In addition to the fines and compensation listed above, he was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.

He was also handed a community order, with a rehabilitation activity requirement up to a maximum of 25 days.

The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account by the court when sentencing.
