Man, 41, to face trial on two charges of rape of the same woman

A 41-year-old man from a village near Spilsby is to face trial for two charges of rape.

Lee Copeland faces two charges of rape on the same woman between January 1, 2020, and February 28, 2022.

Copeland, of Beck Lane, Welton le Marsh, appeared before Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

He is next due to appear before Lincoln Crown Court on April 12.

Bail was granted to Copeland before that hearing with the condition not to contact two named people.
