Man admits affray and assault by beating of doctors and a police officer in incident at Pilgrim Hospital

A 28 year old man who assaulted doctors and a police officer when he became violent at Boston Pilgrim Hospital today (Mon) admitted a charge of affray when he appeared before Lincoln Crown Court.

Levi Emmanuel, of Field Street, Boston, had previously admitted three charges of assaulting an emergency worker by beating involving two doctors and a police officer, and damaging a hospital monitor in relation to the incident at the hospital on 15 February this year.

He also previously admitted four charges of common assault to an emergency worker together with damaging a police officer's jacket and damaging audio recording equipment following an incident later the same day at Boston Police Station.

Judge Julie Warburton adjourned sentence and remanded Emmanuel in custody to appear back before the Crown Court for sentence on 27 March.
