Man charged with attempted robbery and possession of blade in Skegness

A man has been charged with a number of offences including attempted robbery and possession of a blade in Skegness.

Lee Michael Briggs (30), of Frinton Road, Nottingham, has been charged following an incident in Skegness on Sunday morning, May 15.

He was charged with an attempted robbery in Grunhill Close, Skegness and possession of a bladed article. He was also charged with dangerous driving on the A52 at Winthorpe, driving whilst disqualified and other traffic offences.

Briggs was kept in custody and will appear before Lincoln Magistrates this morning (Tuesday).
