Man due in court in relation to ‘short pursuit’ near Boston Police Station involving off-road buggy
A ‘short pursuit’ near Boston Police Station involving an off-road buggy took place yesterday (Wednesday, June 7), according to Lincolnshire Police.
The driver was spotted in Lincoln Lane, where Boston Police Station is located, and indicated to stop. The pursuit came to an end when the vehicle crashed into the rear gates of the station, a spokesman for the force said.
Steven Murphy, 37, of Broadfield Lane, Boston, has been charged with driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence, and failing to stop.
He is due to appear at Boston Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 26.
