Man due in court to face charges of attacking doctors and a police officer at Boston Pilgrim Hospital

A man is due to appear in court on Monday in relation to charges of assaults on hospital workers.

Levi Emmanuel will appear at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday 16 March to face 11 charges relating to a reported disturbance at Boston Pilgrim Hospital on Saturday 15 February.

Levi Emmanuel, 28, of Field Street, Boston, has been charged with three counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker – two of these relate to attacks on doctors and the other on a police officer.

He also faces four charges of common assault on an emergency worker and one count of affray. The common assaults refer to attacks on police officers.

Further charges have also been brought for criminal damage. These relate to the damage of a hospital monitor, an audio recording device at the police station in Lincoln Lane and a police officer’s jacket.
