Man left with serious head injuries after incident outside village pub


.Police were called to the Black Bull in Station Street, Donington, at 11.47pm on Saturday night after a man was found outside of the pub with a serious head injury.
Officers and the ambulance service responded and the victim, a man in his 40’s, was taken to hospital where he remains.

Hide AdHis condition is believed to be potentially life threatening.
A man in his 40’s was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.
It is believed this man was involved in an altercation outside of the pub with the injured man.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. It is believed several cars may have passed by and witnessed what happened.
