Man pleads '˜not guilty' to murder of 53-year-old in Boston

A man today (Friday) denied the murder of a 53-year-old man in Boston when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.

Audrius Zauka , 41, of Ingelow Avenue, Boston, is charged with the murder of Sigitas Kirkickas on Friday 23 October.

The charge arises out of the death of Mr Kirkickas following an alleged incident at Zauka’s home address.

Wearing a grey top and jogging bottoms Zauka communicated through a Russian interpreter during the five minute hearing.

Zauka entered a not guilty plea to the charge that he murdered Mr Kirkickas on 23 October, 2015.

Judge Michael Heath adjourned the case for trial at Lincoln Crown Court on May 3. It is expected to last seven days.

There was no application for bail and Zauka was remanded in to custody until his next court appearance.
