Man taken to hospital with stab wounds after assault

Lincolnshire Police say they were called to a report of an assault on Sleaford Road at 1.26pm.

The air ambulance was called to the scene, and landed on a nearby park.

But it is unclear if the injured man was taken in the helicopter to hospital or transported by road.

A spokesperson for the forces said the man in his 30s was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be stab wounds.

His injuries were not life threatening, and and he has since been discharged from hospital, said the spokesperson.

A man aged 28 and a woman aged 41 were arrested on suspicion of assault.
