Man with balloon fetish accused of breaching sexual offences prevention order at libraries

A man has appeared in court accused of breaching a sexual offences prevention order by having photographs of children under 16 in his possession at Lincolnshire libraries.

David Hunter, 64, of HMP Lincoln, Greetwell Road, Lincoln, pleaded not guilty to six breaches of the order when he appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday, October 16).

Paul Wood, prosecuting, said the order is based on Hunter’s fetish for balloons.

Hunter is said to have contravened the order by having in his possession photographs of children under 16 at Boston Library on March 5, March 6, March 13 and March 17, at Spalding Library on March 11 and at Sleaford Library on March 14.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on October 27.
