Mean thieves spoil Christmas by stealing outdoor tree lights
Mean-spirited Christmas thieves have stolen two sets of battery powered fairy lights from a tree outside a property in Welbourn.
The two sets of lights are said to have been taken from a holly tree located on a driveway at The Nookin in the village sometime between 3.30pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday, December 7.
PCSO Marcos Meneses of Washingborough and Metheringham Neighbourhood Policing Team is appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious, people, vehicles or has CCTV footage that could assist, to call police on 101 with incident number 97 or December 8.
