Police appeal after robber snatches a woman’s bag on Sleaford street

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robber on a bike snatched a bag from his victim on a Sleaford street on Monday afternoon.

They are asking for information from anyone who was around the Woodside Avenue area of Sleaford, near to the Ashby Court junction between 2pm and 3pm who may seen a suspicious male.

He snatched the woman’s handbag and made off towards York Road riding a grey or silver coloured bike with large tyres on it.

Sleaford Police say in their appeal: “The male was described as white, not wearing a mask, wearing a black beanie hat, grey/beige coloured jacket, black bottoms, with a small “man bag” over his shoulder.”
