Police appeal after sex attack in Alford

A police statement, released this afternoon, says: “We are seeking assistance to identify the man in the image in connection with an incident in Alford.

“On Sunday February 9, at around 2pm, we received a report that a man entered a house in Alford and sexually assaulted a woman in her 50s.

“We believe the man in the image can assist with our investigation.

“The man is described as white, in his late 40s or early 50s, and average build. He has grey short hair and was wearing glasses.

“At the time the incident was reported, he was wearing a light coloured shirt and beige coloured trousers.”
