Police appeal after three-vehicle collision near Louth

Lincolnshire Police are hoping to trace a grey Volkswagen Golf following a three-vehicle collision at South Elkington, near Louth, at the weekend.

In a statement published today (Wednesday), Lincolnshire Police said: “We are investigating a three vehicle collision that happened at the junction with the A631 and A157 at South Elkington on Sunday July 18 at 10.50am.

“The three vehicles are a grey VW Golf, a red Peugeot van and a white Nissan Note. The VW Golf was driven from the A157 onto the A631 when the collision happened with the Peugeot van.

“The van rolled and collided with the Nissan Note. Thankfully no-one was seriously injured.

“The driver of the VW, a women, briefly stopped at the scene but did not leave her details.

“We are asking for information that will help us trace the driver. The VW will have significant damage to the front end.”
