Police appeal after wedding rings stolen

A man, alleged to have stolen a wedding band and engagement rings, could have tried to sell them in the Boston area - according to police.

Officers are appealing for information after a Tattershall resident reported the items (pictured) as stolen.

The victim believes that a tradesman who attended her address on a pre-arranged appointment on Thursday April 18.

She told police she always puts her two rings on the same shelf in the kitchen, but did not discover them missing until several hours after the man had left.

After appealing for information on Facebook, a female from Boston said that a man had tried to sell the rings to her.

After seeing the photo the woman confirmed they were the same.
