Police hand out more fines for lockdown breaches

Horncastle Police have reported three more people for breaches of lockdown regulations.

All three will face fines of at least £200.

The first came in a speed enforcement session conducted by PCSO Jad Mohamed in two locations in Wragby.

In all, eight drivers were spoken to and ‘given words of advice.’

One of the drivers, from Leicestershire, was on his way to the Lincolnshire Coast without a valid reason.

Meanwhile, PCSO Nicola Stuchfield and PCSO Nigel Wass reported two residents in Woodhall Spa for lockdown breaches.

Police said: “Please follow the government guidelines.

“They are there to keep people safe in these challenging times.”
