Police have appealed for witnesses after a stabbing

Officers were called to Howell Road in Heckington on Monday night following reports of a stabbing.

At 7.30pm a 32-year-old man was stabbed in the chest and behind the ear.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His injuries are not currently believed to be life threatening or changing.

A 22-year-old man who had left the scene was arrested by officers 20 minutes after the attack. He remains in police custody.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident.
