Police inspector to face misconduct hearing

A Louth-based police inspector is to face a misconduct hearing for an alleged breach in standards of professional behaviour.

Inspector Andrew Price, who is based at Louth Police Station, will attend an accelerated misconduct hearing at Lincolnshire Police headquarters on August 5.

It is alleged that the officer breached the standards of professional behaviour when they pleaded guilty on May 26 this year at Nottingham Crown Court to an offence of possession of Pava spray, contrary to the Firearms Act 1968.
