Police investigate hit-and-run collision in Charles Street

Police are appealing for information following a report of a non-stop collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Charles Street, Louth.

A 33-year-old man suffered minor injuries after he was in collision with an unknown vehicle.

It is believed that there may have been other people nearby who possibly witnessed the incident.

A police spokesman said: “We believe the collision happened between 1pm and 2pm on Wednesday June 10.

“We are asking for members of the public to contact us if they have any information.”
