Police issue appeal after more bin fires in Horncastle
The first took place on the evening of March 11 at 11.30pm when a fire alarm was set off at a residential property in Stanhope Road.
The recycling bin had been set alight next to the property’s entrance door and there was damage to both door and bin (Incident Number 123 of March 12)

Hide AdThere was another wheelie bin fire on Stanhope Road on Friday (Incident number 316 of the 13 March).
Recycling bins have also been set alight outside the playing field pavilion on Coronation Walk (incident number 82 of the March 12.)
A police spokesman said: “If anyone knows anything about any of these crimes, we ask you to come forward and telephone our non emergency number 101.”
There has been a spate of bin fires in various locations in the town during recent weeks - including one outside a charity shop in the High Street.

Hide AdPolice have stepped up patrols and there has been at least one arrest recently regarding anti-social-behaviour.
Town councillors and a number of residents have expressed concern that someone could be seriously injured.
