Police lost for words after adults make 76 mile trip from Nottingham to Theddlethorpe during lockdown

‘We have no words!’

That is the message from Alford and Mablethorpe Police after officers came across four adults sat on the beach at Theddlethorpe, near Mablethorpe.

In a post on the Alford and Mablethorpe Police Facebook page, a statement said: “We have no words.

“Four adults on the beach at Theddlethorpe after travelling from Nottingham.

“When challenged they claimed their four children needed a change of air and view for the day.”

So far, 181 users have commented on the post and it has been shared 230 times.
