Police probe after attempted robbery of elderly person in Sibsey home

Police are appealing for information after the incident on Wheatsheaf Close just after midday last Friday.

They are particularly keen for anyone who has dashcam footage that might have picked up the incident.

A police statement released today said: "Three men dressed in black went to a house in Wheatsheaf Close and threatened the elderly occupant who fought them off.

"The men made off and we would like to examine any dashcam footage which may help us to identify those involved.

"If you have any information which may assist, please contact 101 and quote Incident 147 of the 31/01/2020"

*A man aged 35 has been arrested and charged with attempted robbery in relation to the incident.
