Police pull over driver in Spilsby and find knives and drugs inside the car

“One of our response patrols stopped a car in the Spilsby area,” a force spokesperson explained. “The driver, a 25 year-old man from the Sheffield area, had no licence and also failed a roadside drugs test.

The officers then carried out a search of the vehicle and said they found “a quantity of drugs and knives” inside.

The spokesperson added: “The driver was arrested and the car was seized.

"The drug recovered was cannabis and three knives were found in the car. The man has now been released under investigation.”
