Police seek to identify man who may have been Boston hit and run victim

Police want to speak to this man who is thought to have been the victim of a hit and run in Boston.

The incident happened on August 28, although police have only just released details.

Officers say at around 4pm a white van mounted the kerb at the junction of Liquorpond Street and George Street and collded with a pedestrian.

It happened just past the yellow hash marked box.

Lincolnshire Police believe the man in the picture, captured by a passing motorist's dashcam, is the victim.

The of the van failed to stop at the scene.

Police say in their statement: "We would like to emphasise the man (in the picture) is not a potential suspect."
