Police seeking dashcam footage after five vehicle RTC on A16 Louth bypass

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for dashcam footage following a five vehicle collision on the A16 Louth bypass on Friday (August 7).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for dashcam footage following a five vehicle collision on the A16 Louth bypass between the industrial estate roundabout and the Lincoln roundabout.

“The collision took place at around 2pm on Friday, August 7 and resulted in the road being closed for around two hours.

“The collision involved the following vehicles:

• Beige BMW

• Green crop sprayer

• Silver Vauxhall Zafira

• Grey Land Rover Discovery

• HGV Scania low loader

“A man in his 70s, the driver of the BMW, received minor injuries.

“Investigating Officer PC Keri Topham is keen to speak to the driver of a campervan which was travelling along this stretch of road just before the collision took place.

“She would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has dashcam footage which may assist with this investigation.”
