Police swoop on suspected car thieves in Boston

Police swooped on a vehicle in Sleaford Road this afternoon and arrested two men in connection with the theft of a Jaguar XF car.

The car was reported stolen from Sleaford this morning (Thursday).

An eyewitness at the scene, who took this picture of the action, said officers pulled the men out of a black car, which appeared to have a large hole in the bonnet.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “Officers stopped the car on Sleaford Road in Boston at midday and arrested two men (aged 20 and 22) on suspicion of theft.”
