A spokesman on the Sleaford Police Facebook site said the bystanders had heard a shout from staff at the Boots store on Southgate.

The trio stopped a man as he tried to leave the store and prevented him from leaving until police arrived.

Christian Roberts, 34, from Sleaford has been charged with a number of offences including taking around £530 of stock from Boots.
