Section of road near Boston closed after lorry load becomes unsafe
A section of a road near Boston has been closed after a load being carried by a lorry became unsafe, Lincolnshire Police has said.
The A1121 Boardsides has been closed between Hubbert’s Bridge and the Sleaford Road roundabout, the force announced in a social media post at about 4pm this afternoon (Monday, April 20).
The post explained a load on a lorry travelling on the Boardsides moved and broke through the headboard of the trailer following sudden emergency braking.
Recovery is anticipated to take at least four hours, the post said, advising that alternative routes be taken to avoid delays.
