Sleaford Police appeal for witnesses to town centre fight between two women

Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged fight between two women in a Sleaford town centre street in the early afternoon.

Pc Jim Woolerton of Sleaford Neighbourhood Policing Team said the alleged assault is believed to have happened at about 1.30pm on Tuesday on the corner of Southgate and Handley Street.

He said: “Both parties claim there were several witnesses to the incident and we would like them to come forward as independent witnessesto the altercation.”

Neither woman is said to have been injured in the altercation, which may also have been picked up by CCTV, which will be reviewed by officers.

Both woman are described as having fair hair, one was with her husband, one was in her mid 40s.
