Teenagers face trial charged with attempted robbery in Skegness

Two teenagers have been remanded for trial on allegations of attempted robbery and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.

A 16 year old youth from Skegness and a 17 year old from Shirebrook, Mansfield , who cannot be named for legal reasons, both face allegations of attempted robbery of John Rowlinson in Skegness and also two allegations of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause Mr Rowlinson and a Bernard Wattam to believe unlawful violence would be used against him or another.

The charges relate to an incident in Skegness on October 2.

Both youths were remanded for their trial on January 27.
