Tetney man, 20, admits drink-driving while more than three times over the limit

A Tetney man has pleaded guilty to driving while more than three times over the legal drink-driving limit.

Keenan McQueen, 20, of Inghams Road, appeared at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court last Friday (October 16) where he admitted to drink-driving in Cleethorpes on September 13.

At the time of the offence, he had 119 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in his system. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

McQueen was remanded on unconditional bail until January 15 next year, while a pre-sentence report is prepared.

The court imposed an interim driving disqualification until this date.
