Thieves steal builders' tools from site in Dunston

Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole tools from a building site in Dunston.

PCSO Paul Flannigan of Washingborough and Metheringham Neighbourhood Policing Team said they have received a report that a residential property on Meadow Road in the village which currently has builders on site, has been the focus of an attempted burglary.

Thieves are said to have unsuccessfully attempted to break into three of the windows of the property, but they did take a mini mixer and a sledge hammer.

The incident is believed to have happened between midday on Wednesday, March 29 and midday Friday March 31.
