Third man arrested after assault on police officers in Wainfleet

Three officers were assaulted in the Market Place just after 5.35pm on Monday.

More officers were deployed, resulting in two of the suspects being arrested.

All three men - aged 20, 20 and a 22, from the Skegness area - have now been released on bail and investigations are ongoing.

Lincolnshire Police is appealing for information to assist in the investigation.
