Three arrested for attempted murder after woman is found seriously injured

The woman is thought to have been stabbed, and remains in hospital in a serious condition.

Police were called out to reports of a disturbance at Tattershall Road, Boston, at just after 9pm.

Officers found the 28-year-old woman who had suffered serious injured.

It is believed she had suffered a stab wound and she was rushed to hospital.

Three people, two men and one woman, all aged between 28 and 59, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police have stated that this is not believed to have been a random attack “because the victim and the arrested people are all known to each other”.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said they were appealing for anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident and who may have seen or heard anything that might be relevant to the investigation.

In an update last night (Sunday) the spokesperson said: “A number of enquiries are ongoing tonight as we continue our investigation.”

A police cordon remained in place throughout Sunday and into Monday morning as investigations continue.
