Three charged after robbery in Skegness

Three people have been charged after a group of people were assaulted and robbed in Skegness.

The incident took place in the Tower Gardens area of Grand Parade in the early hours of Tuesday, August 25.

One of the police officers who attended was assaulted but not seriously and three men were arrested on suspicion of robbery, public order and assault on an emergency worker.

The following have now been charged:

Corey Chester, 19, from Pelham Avenue, Nottingham, Cole Blacow, 18, from Little Casterton Road, Stamford and a 17 year old, also from Nottingham have been charged with two counts of robbery, one count of attempt robbery and two counts of assault.

Additionally, Cole Blacow, has been charged with an offence of assaulting a police officer.

All three had their bail declined and appeared by virtual link at Lincoln Magistrates Court
