A few hours after the Horncastle incident police were called to reports that three people had gained access to a property in Silver Street in Bardney and demanded car keys. The house was said to have been searched and items stolen. A vehicle was also stolen from this address.

The Bardney incident was reported at 1.39am, and is believed to have happened shortly before.

Local patrol officers, as well as the drone unit, were deployed to the scene to search the local area.
