Unconscious man found lying in a road in Ingoldmells with unexplained injuries

An unconscious man was found lying in the road in Ingoldmells with a suspected fractured skull, in the early hours of this morning.

Police are currently investigating the site where the 50-year-old local man was discovered on Anchor Lane at 1.08am but are as yet unsure of how he came across his injuries.

The victim man has been taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital with serious head injuries.

Anyone who was on Anchor Lane, in the vicinity of The Bell pub around that time or who saw the man before or after he was injured or who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious is asked to call 101 quoting incident 8 of March 28.
