UPDATE: Police want to contact van driver after raid on kebab shop

Police hunting raiders who broke into a village kebab shop want to speak to the driver of a van seen in the vicinity.

The break-in at the Kebab shop on Station Road happened sometime between 10pm last night (Tuesday February 16) and midday today (Wednesday February 17).

Police say a medium sized ‘Smith and Locke’ digital combination safe was stolen containing a quantity of cash.

In an update on the incident, Lincolnshire Police said: “We are particularly interested to speaking to the driver / passenger of a white van with chevrons on the rear seen around 0005 hours driving down Station Road, Kirton towards the A16.

“It’s believed the occupants of this van may be able to help with our inquiries.”
