UPDATED: Police issue jewellery pictures after man in 90s is victim of cruel burglary

A man in his 90s was among the victim of cruel burglars who stole a substantial amount of jewellery from a Boston home.

Police issued CCTV footage after the distraction burglary distracted the occupants of a home in Kenleigh Drive.

And they have now released pictures of the jewellery in a bid to help trace the thieves and get the items back.

Officers want to talk to the two people in the pictures and are looking for information on the car, a Ford Mondeo, which is also in the images.

The offence took place at around 4.30pm on Tuesday October 13.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "One man is believed to have distracted the victims while another snuck into their property and stole a substantial amount of jewellery.

"One of the victims was a man in his 90's.

"The two people shown in the pictures and the Ford Mondeo are of interest to officers, and identifying them may help their inquiries.
